THe Venue
The Corley Mill House & Garden:
"Sprawling, old pecan trees line the circular drive, welcoming bride, groom & guests to the charming gardens & statuary that encircle this elegant, fully restored, turn of the century, plantation style home. The view through an ivy covered arbor hints at the picturesque back grounds adorned with a hand crafted white gazebo, quaint water wheel, wrap around covered patios & perfectly manicured lawns all framed by a breath taking view of the surrounding countryside."
THe Ceremony
Darienne & Grant shared chose to have their ceremony in the middle of the venue's beautiful garden. The gazebo where they exchanged vows was decorated by yours truly with flowing white fabric that was draped in layers with lace bows on each corner. (see photo below). The pair were joined by 150 guests in celebration of their union.

My Favorites
As always, one of my favorite aspects of a full wedding day is decorating the couple's venue with special items that they've brought. I really loved the boxes of wine bottles with fairy lights inside that the bride gave me to place all around the venue (see photo below). It gave such an amazing glow to the historic property in the evening when everyone was enjoying the ceremony. I also really loved setting up the couple's love story photos on top of an antique credenza near their guest book.
A Heart felt thank you to Kendall layne photography for all of these beautiful images!
